K.Flay is a rapper, producer from the Chicago area, and her new album “Life As A Dog” is available now on iTunesGoogle Play and Amazon.

An artist who quickly evolved from parody to indie, Chicago-born rapper K. Flay first grabbed the mike while a student at Stanford University in California. It was the frivolous topics and misogynistic lyrics she saw in mainstream rap that first drove her to record a parody of the genre, but she was surprised by both her talent and how much she enjoyed recording. She spent the rest of the year recording and writing, spent her sophomore year performing, and in her junior year, she dropped her debut album, 2004's Suburban Rap Queen. Five years later, her second effort, Mashed Potatoes, appeared with backing tracks that were more electro and indie-oriented, a style that remained in place for 2011's I Stopped Caring in '96. In 2013, she made her major-label debut with the What If It Is EP on RCA.

Brand new album "SHAKEN" by Maggie Bjorklund from Bloodshot Records is now available. There's some really unique sounds and equally unique artists on this album, Check it out!

From Bloodshot Records:

Maggie is a pedal steel guitarist/singer/composer from Copenhagen, Denmark. She has made a name for herself as an exceptional and stylistically unique musician, combining the tastes and techniques a wide variety of music - country, indie rock, film scores, psychedelia, pop - into a seamless blend of roots music. Over the years she has landed coveted touring gigs with Jack White (and performed on his latest Lazaretto), X’s John Doe and Exene Cervenka, and Howe Gelb, and recruited big names for her debut release Coming Home in 2011: Mark Lanegan, Calexico’s Joey Burns and John Convertino, John Auer (the Posies), to name a few.

Maggie Bjorklund
With the release of her second album Shaken , Bjorklund again puts together an A-plus band, consisting of drummer Convertino, Barb Hunter on cello, Jim Barr (Portishead) on bass, John Parish (noted for his work as a singer/songwriter with PJ Harvey, Sparklehorse) on guitars/electric bass and production, and a featured guest vocal appearance by Kurt Wagner (Lambchop). This time around, the songwriting has a dire purpose and a profound, cathartic inspiration for its timely arrangement.

And when you follow an artist, DeliRadio will automatically alert you when said artist posts new music or adds nearby concert dates in the future.

ORANGE GOBLIN - "Sabbath Hex" (Video)

Orange Goblin (Candlelight Records)
Orange Goblin (Candlelight Records)

With the release of Back From The Abyss, the forthcoming new full-length from stoner metal icons ORANGE GOBLIN, now less than one month away, Noisey thrusts forth opening rager, "Sabbath Hex."

Recorded earlier this year in London, ORANGE GOBLIN's Back From The Abyss was produced by Jamie Dodd, mastered at Turan Audio and follows the band's most successful release, 2012's A Eulogy For The Damned, and the recent reissue of their 2007 album Healing Through Fire. Rocking hard as fans have come expect, Back From The Abyss shows not only the band's signature blues 'n' doom persuasion but the high caliber of their musicianship. In an advance 9/10 review of the record, This Is Not A Scene crowns Back From The Abyss, "another triumph for ORANGE GOBLIN," furthering that it maintains the band's, "consistent level of songwriting and performance all the way through its twelve tracks that make this their most accomplished album to date. Proof that hard work does indeed pay off."

Together since 1995, ORANGE GOBLIN has released seven full-length studio albums. A Eulogy For The Damned was the band's first for Candlelight Records and closed a five year recording hiatus. The album was supported with the most live dates by the band in their history; touring that saw the band on North American soil first alongside Clutch then on a full-scale headlining tour that found them on thirty-eight stages across the US and Canada. Two videos were filmed and released for the album, including "Red Tide Rising" and the special Scion A/V video for "Acid Trials."

Back From The Abyss will be released October 7th, 2014 via Candlelight Records. Preorder your copy at THIS LOCATION.
